It’s relationship season, let’s get it going
My Sun, Venus and Mercury are in the 7th house. I am TIRED of hearing or talking about relationships. Or I was until I decided I don’t HAVE to be in one to be happy. Don’t get me wrong: A relationship might be nice and whilst I’m not out there looking for one, if it happens it happens and I’m sure I’d be one happy puppy. It would just have to be on my terms. Very Aquarius, I know. But I digress…
What I’m saying is that I understand if a focus on relationships is not the thing you need right now. For whatever reason. That’s cool. What we also need to remember: Relationships are everything. Because it is not just about a romantic partner. Any one to one relationship we have with other people (and animals, let’s be frank here) matters and may be highlighted now. Many, even. Especially the ones that fall into the area of your life where Libra resides in your chart for you. No idea what I’m talking about? Look at your natal chart or go to your favourite astrologer (hint hint) to book a reading!
Mercury Retrograde in Libra (until last Friday) may have brought up misunderstandings, arguments, even breakups. Take those lessons and apply them this Libra season. You will thank me. And yourself, mainly. Allow yourself to put that focus there and see what happens. Can’t stand people (I GET IT!)? How about analysing the relationship you have with yourself?
And if you haven’t set intentions for this New Moon in Libra (last Sunday, 25 September, at about 11 pm UK time) yet, why not sit down this week and do just that?
The finer things in life matter
Libra loves beauty as much as harmony and balance in everything. If you can, plan one or two indulgence sessions this season. Undisturbed, just for yourself. Leave the laundry be and get that pocket for yourself. Enjoy something that you rarely get to do.
The urge to do this will only become bigger as Venus moves into Libra on Thursday (29 September). You’re looking at the need to take extremely good care of yourself doubling, if not tripling during this transit. You’ll want more harmony in your life in general, too, so you might just want to rearrange your home. Especially if Libra is residing in your fourth house!
On 2 October at 10.07 am UK time, the day has come that we’ve all been waiting for! Mercury stations direct! Hallelujah! BUT! Remember there’s always a shadow period straight after, which will lead you to integrate the lessons this Retrograde has taught you about your relationships, work and health.
Talking about planets stationing direct, Libra season brings it all! On 8 October, Pluto will station direct in Capricorn and and you’ll feel a bit of a weight lifted off your shoulders. After having learnt many lessons in your work life, including dealing with changes you may not have liked, now is the time to be in control of it all again.
As Mercury then fucks back off into Libra on the 11th, there is one more planet going direct on the 23rd just before the Sun moves on, too. Saturn will be stationing direct in Aquarius, giving you permission to rebel against the system again. The revolution is shouting and you’d better answer. Let’s use these last few months of restrictive Saturn being in freedom loving Aquarius to take to the streets and riot! Not always literally, but let’s make it as radical as possible.
